The Stanley House Hotel & Spa

Updated: Oct 1, 2023

Today it was Laura's turn to say "I do' at the gorgeous Stanley House Hotel & Spa.

This was my first time to this venue and I must say what a lovely venue it is. Set in 54 acres in the idyllic rural surroundings of Lancashire’s Ribble Valley, Stanley House is a magnificent 17th century Manor House which provides everything you could wish for, for your wedding day.

On the morning of the wedding I arrived at 7am to get the girls and the Mum's ready.

The bridesmaids all wore gorgeous green dresses and the bride looked super stunning in her lacey gown.

As it was a hot day I used the airbrush makeup on the brides and bridesmaids. The girls had never had the airbrush makeup before and all of them commented on how much they liked it. The airbrush makeup gives a really nice natural finish and I tend to use a little bit of the Charlotte Tilbury flawless filter highlighter underneath the airbrush foundation to give a natural dewy glow. The girls all had very similar looks and wanted to keep the makeup quite natural.

Here's the girls looking fabulous and ready to walk their bestie Laura down the aisle

If you have booked Stanley House as your wedding venue and you are in need of a bridal makeup artist please drop me a message. Its always advisable to book your suppliers as soon as you have a date booked with your venue as quite often wedding suppliers can be booked up to 1-2 years in advance.
